The Mississauga Marathon is taking place on the morning of Sunday, April 26, 2026. Expect delays and lane/road closures in and around the course between 7:00 am and 11:00 am. Watercolours residents: This includes Indian Road and Mississauga Road, so plan accordingly.
ROAD CLOSURE: Mississauga Road (both directions) from South Sheridan Way to Lakeshore Road from 7:00 am - 11:00 am
- Please minimize vehicle travel if at all possible between the times noted above
- No access northbound onto Mississauga Road from Lakeshore Road.
- No access southbound onto Mississauga Road from South Sheridan Way.
- Indian Road will remain open in both directions from Lorne Park to Mississauga Road.
- Resident motorists on the west side of Mississauga Road are asked to use Indian Road for access.
- Residents on the east side of Mississauga Road will be guided by Marshalls or police officers when exiting.
- Access to the QEW will be possible only via Indian Road and Indian Grove.
- Direct access to Lakeshore Road will not be possible through Mississauga Road.
- Peel Regional Police will enforce all closures.
