New Ontario Law Bans Some Door-To-Door Sales
A new law came into effect earlier this month designed to protect consumers from some door-to-door sales solicitors. As of March 1, 2018, Ontario laws ban unsolicited, door-to-door sales of certain household appliances to better protect consumers from aggressive and misleading contracting at home.
