Watercolours is one of the safest communities in Mississauga, in part, because of our strong sense of community involvement, awareness of safety issues and information sharing tools.
Now that school is back and more children are roaming the neighbourhood, the importance of obeying speed limits and stop signs cannot be stressed enough.
In an effort to encourage driver's to slow down, the city is permitting the placement of lawn signs as seen in the image above. We have ordered a small quantity if you wish to take advantage of this program. You can also order your own by contacting our councillor (905-896-5200 or

In addition, in late spring two areas were identified as no-stopping zones by the city and signs have been placed to mark them. They are at the end of St. Luke walkway leading out to Canyon Street and the foot of Cobalt Street at Canyon Street (end of another walkway).
