🚧 Peel Region Construction Notice 🚧
Peel Region has been working in Lorne Park to replace the watermain along South Sheridan Way and crossing the QEW. This work is required to maintain and improve existing water services. At this stage of the project, a lane closure will be required to complete this work.
🔸 Traffic Impact: 🔸
Starting April 28, 2025, South Sheridan Way between Southdown Rd. and Clarkson Rd. North will be reduced to a single lane, eastbound only. Westbound traffic will follow a detour route. Lane reductions will last until the end of June 2025.
During this time, westbound traffic will be directed along a detour route, which is shown in the above map. This work was not completed during the previous road closure due to concerns with the existing water main location. Design changes were made for the new water main, which required updated approvals and permits.
