The westbound on-ramp to the QEW at Mississauga Road has finally re-opened after closing in the summer of 2021 as part of the QEW/Credit River Improvements project.
This opening was a welcome update considering the recent closure of South Sheridan Way which had been the best alternate route the past two years. Over the last several weeks many Lorne Park Residents were forced to weave through side streets creating increased traffic volume along school zones. North Sheridan Way also saw increased traffic for westbound traffic.
